When Is Team India’s Next Match?

Team India dominated South Africa by 135 runs in the fourth and final T20I of the series at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. The victory secured India a 3-1 series win. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, India posted a massive 283/1, then bowled out the Proteas for 148.

Sanju Samson (109* off 56) and Abhishek Sharma (36 off 18) added 73 for the first wicket, before Samson partnered with Tilak Varma for an unbroken 210-run stand. Samson hit six fours and nine sixes, while Varma scored nine fours and 10 sixes, securing his second consecutive T20I century.

South Africa’s chase got off to a disastrous start, slumping to 10-4 after three overs, with left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh taking three quick wickets. Spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel also contributed with two wickets each as the Proteas were comprehensively defeated.

India’s next match is a Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Perth

While the T20I team has finished its tour of South Africa, India’s Test squad has been training in Australia for the upcoming five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. The series will kick off with the first Test at Optus Stadium in Perth on November 22. The match is set to begin at 7:50 AM IST and 10:20 AM local time.
