The Binnys probably had the best time of the married life on their 5th anniversary as Stuart hit a 46-ball 87 in KPL and also was adjudged man of the match. The cherry on the cake was he was interviewed by his wife Mayanti in the mid-innings break.
Binny”s team Belgavi Panthers were playing a Shishir Bhavane-led Bengaluru Blasters on Friday, September 8 at Mysore. Panthers” skipper Sreenath Aravind won the toss and opted to bat. His team was soon left reeling at 32/4 from 7 overs and needed a really special effort from someone to keep themselves in the game. Just then, Binny decided to make his 5th anniversary special and played a blinder of a knock. His 46-ball 87 included 8 fours and 5 sixes which helped Panthers get 192. Binny also picked up 2 wickets with the ball as Belgavi Panthers beat Bengaluru Blasters by 23 runs.
In the mid innings break, the moment came. However, Mayanti
asked him only about the game. Stuart said, “These days no score is safe. So even we have scored 192, we need to get early wickets”

Stuart is often the victim of social media trolling because his international career has not taken off and finds himself out of Indian team.
Mayanti Langer is the popular figure on television. She has done a fabulous job as an anchor on many shows on Star Sports. Her romance with Stuart Binny had not created buzz on social media before the couple got married in September 2012. Mayanti hails from a family where her mother was a teacher and her father has worked with UN. She had a craze for football and thus became the guest anchor in Fifa beach football.
There have been quite a few instances in the past when sportsmen have been interviewed by their better halves. Martin Guptill was interviewed by his wife in 2015 after he scored a hundred against Sri Lanka. Spain football captain Iker Casillas was also interviewed by his girlfriend after winning 2010 World Cup. Casillas had kissed his girlfriend after the interview back then. However, we didn”t get to see anything like that from Binny.
