Ravi Ghai heads the Graviss Group, a major player in the hospitality and food industries, with associations including the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery. A graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, Ghai returned to India in 1967 and took over the family business from his father, Iqbal Krishan (IK) Ghai. He played a pioneering role in shaping India’s frozen dessert market by launching Kwality Ice Cream, which became a household name for products like chocobars, mango duets, and cassatas.
Under his leadership, Graviss Group also brought the Baskin-Robbins franchise to the SAARC region, further expanding their influence. Currently, Ghai serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Graviss Hospitality Ltd and holds directorships in Kwality Read Estates Pvt Ltd and Perfect Livestock LLP. Graviss Food Solutions Private Limited recorded revenues of ₹624 crore in FY23-24, marking a 20% growth over the previous year.
Arjun Tendulkar’s Cricket Career
Arjun Tendulkar has been making steady progress in his cricketing journey as a left-arm fast bowler with the ability to contribute valuable runs in the lower order. Representing Goa in domestic cricket, he has played 17 First-Class matches, taking 37 wickets and scoring 532 runs. His T20 record includes 24 matches with 27 wickets and 119 runs, while in 18 List A one-day games, he has claimed 25 wickets and scored 102 runs.
