Hasaranga has participated in 54 ODIs, where he averaged 23 runs per game and scored 895 runs throughout this period.
In his T20 career so far, he has taken part in 70 games with an average of 14, making him score a total of 672 runs. Throughout his T20 career, Hasaranga made 16 sixes as well as 66 fours, out of which his recent twenty-type match saw him make no runs off one ball against India during the last encounter between them.
