Indian cricketers are currently gearing for the biggest cricketing festival – Indian Premier League (IPL) starting from September 19 in the UAE. The cricketers will ply their trade for various franchises and will lock horns against each other. Ahead of the start of IPL 2020, Shreyas Iyer has revealed who will win an arm-wrestling match between Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya in a friendly chat.

Meanwhile, the current Indian side is one of the fittest teams across the world. The likes of skipper Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Navdeep Saini, and Manish Pandey have really set the bar very high. While each one draws inspiration from others to get better, a hypothetical battle was put ahead of Shreyas Iyer.

During a chat with ESPNCricinfo, the Delhi Capitals skipper Iyer faced some impromptu question including who is most likely to win an arm-wrestling match between Kohli and Pandya. The cricketer from Mumbai went with the former and also said that Kohli has a better physique.

Virat Kohli has been the flagbearer of fitness in the Indian team. Not only his, but the talismanic cricketer also pushed everyone to get better both on and off the field. Recently, Shreyas Iyer had brought some home-cooked dosas for Kohli which both cricketers had to remain inside their home due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming IPL. On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer will be at the helm of Delhi Capitals. Both sides have not won the prestigious trophy so far and will give their all to end their drought.

Delhi will begin their campaign on September 20 against Kings XI Punjab, whereas, Bangalore will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad on the next day. IPL 2020 will kick off on September 19 with Chennai Super Kings taking on defending champions Mumbai Indians.
