While his name is T Natarajan, he has “JP Nattu” written on his back. As per sources close to the SRH team management, JP is a mark of respect for his mentor Jayaprakash who spotted Natarajan as a tennis ball cricketer.
Thangarasu Natarajan, as his name reads completely, Natarajan was roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018. He learned his trade of bowling accurate yorkers from his practice in tennis ball cricket under his mentor Jayaprakash. Along with accurate yorkers, he has a couple of change up deliveries in his arsenal, which he uses from time to time.
