  1. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj will lead the inexperienced bowling attack which will be without Mohammed Shami. He has been the backbone of the Indian test bowling line-up. He would be key for picking early wickets with the new ball and putting West Indies’ batting under pressure.

Siraj would be playing his first Test match on West Indies soil and would be eager to prove his worth. His ability to swing the ball would make him a dangerous bowler. If he can provide early breakthroughs for Team India, then it will be creating more pressure on West Indies batters.

  1. Kemar Roach

Kemar Roach has been the backbone of the West Indies Test bowling line-up for quite a long time. He can pick early wickets with the new ball and makes life tough for the opponent’s batting line-up.

He did a superb job during India’s visit to West Indies during the 2019 Test series. Roach picked up 9 wickets in the 2 Test matches he played.

The premier pace bowler would be eager to replicate his form during the first Test match against India starting today. He can make life tough for the opening pair and would look to make early breakthroughs putting the Indian team under pressure.

  1. Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja contributes with both bat and ball in Test matches. He has done well with the ball providing major breakthroughs and not allowing batters to score runs freely.

Since making his comeback from the Test series against Australia, Ravindra Jadeja has proved his worth with the ball. Jadeja would be eager to showcase his bowling skills against the West Indies batting line-up.
