The Mumbai Indians announced their coaching group for the 2023 Women’s Premier League. Former India cricketer Jhulan Goswami will be the mentor and bowling coach for the team in the inaugural edition of the tournament. The Women’s Premier League is likely to take place in Mumbai in March 2023.
The Mumbai Indians franchise took to Twitter to share the announcement. Along with Jhulan, former England skipper Charlotte Edwards and Devieka Palshikaar will also be a part of the coaching group. Charlotte Edwards will be the team’s Head coach, and Devieka Palshikaar will be the Batting coach.

This is an exciting time for women’s sports in India: Nita Ambani
Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani welcomed Jhulan Goswani, Charlotte Edwards, and Devieka Palshikaar to the franchise. She expressed that it’s great to see more and more women excelling in the sport, in different roles. Nita Ambani added that the leadership of the coaching group will help the Mumbai Indians to build a legacy in the Women’s Premier League.
