The second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is just a few nights away. The preparations for the 2024 season are in full swing, as the tournament gets underway on February 23 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. A dazzling opening ceremony will take place before the tournament kicks off.
Several Bollywood stars will perform during the opening ceremony that is set to take place just before the season opener at 6.30 PM at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Board of Control for Cricket in India revealed the line-up for the opening ceremony. Siddharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff and Kartik Aaryan are set to grace their presence.

Mumbai Indians to take on Delhi Capitals in 2024 WPL season opener
The defending champions, Mumbai Indians will be taking on the runners-up of the 2023 season, Delhi Capitals in the opening match of the second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). The Capitals lost to the Indians in the final of the 2023 edition by seven wickets at Brabourne Stadium. Both teams will be keen to start off the tournament on a winning note.
