The Indian National Cricket Team's wicket-keeper batsman in red-ball cricket, Wriddhiman Saha was blessed with a baby boy, the cricketer revealed the news late on March 6 (Friday). Although Saha had a difficult time in New Zealand in the cricket field, he is certainly having a gala time off the field and seemed ecstatic while sharing the news on social media platforms.
Saha was surprisingly dropped from the playing XI for the two-match series against New Zeland to give a place to Rishabh Pant. The decision copped a lot of criticism with former cricketers coming in support of the Bengal wicket-keeper and also calling out of the team management for playing with Wriddhiman Saha's career. Former wicket-keepers like Farookh Engineer and Nayan Mongia backed playing a specialist gloveman in red-ball cricket.

The veteran wicket-keeper was the first-choice stumper during the home series against South Africa and Bangladesh. Saha did exceedingly well earning praise from all quarters including skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri. Rishabh Pant also failed to showcase his talent and was largely unsuccessful with both bat and behind the stumps.
Despite all the hardship inside the field, Wriddhiman Saha had a piece of exciting news to share with his fans and followers. Otherwise, clam and quite, Saha looked extremely revealing the news of the birth of a baby boy on social media platforms.
"Our little bundle of joy has arrived! Me, Romi and big sister Anvi are ecstatic to welcome our little baby boy into this world," Saha wrote on Twitter.
