“Yaar Ekdum Boring Tha” – Rohit Sharma’s Witty Remark At Champions Trophy Presser Goes Viral

In a hilarious moment at the 2025 Champions Trophy press conference, India captain Rohit Sharma dubbed the session ‘boring,’ leaving fans amused. Joined by chief selector Ajit Agarkar, Rohit was there to announce India’s squad for the ODI series against England and the Champions Trophy on January 18.

As the duo addressed questions about team selection, player choices, and omissions, Rohit was overheard telling Agarkar after the conference ended:

“Yaar BC ekdum boring tha PC (Press conference) [Man, the press conference was absolutely boring].”

Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be fit for the Champions Trophy, while Harshit Rana will feature in the England series, and Kuldeep Yadav is set to return from injury. Shubman Gill has been appointed vice-captain of the ODI team, while Mohammed Siraj has been dropped.

Mohammed Shami is making his comeback to the 50-over format after missing action since the 2023 ODI World Cup. Despite an impressive Vijay Hazare Trophy performance, Karun Nair has been excluded.

India’s Schedule Announced for Upcoming Limited-Overs Series

Team India will kick off their campaign by hosting England for a five-match T20I series, starting on January 22 in Kolkata. The second match will take place in Chennai on January 25, followed by the third in Rajkot on January 28. The final two T20Is are scheduled for Pune on January 31 and Mumbai on February 2.
