‘You Made Debut When We Were In Nappies’: Rohit Sharma And Amit Mishra Share Funny Conversation

Former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and Lucknow Super Giants spinner Amit Mishra exchanged light-hearted banter following the IPL 2024 showdown between the two sides at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday, April 30th.

Lucknow Super Giants secured their sixth win of the current IPL campaign, defeating Mumbai Indians by four wickets. Chasing a target of 145, LSG successfully chased it down with four balls remaining in the final over.

Marcus Stoinis shone with a brilliant 62 off 45 balls and partnered effectively with captain KL Rahul (28) to build a crucial 58-run partnership for the second wicket. Nicholas Pooran sealed the victory with an unbeaten 14, scoring the winning run to cross the finish line for the team.

Following the game, players from both teams were interacting with each other through conversations. However, LSG sparked a light-hearted exchange between Amit Mishra and former MI captain Rohit Sharma on its X handle (formerly Twitter).

In a video, Rohit, accompanied by Murali Karthik, jestingly discussed Amit’s age. Rohit amusingly remarked to Amit Mishra that the veteran spinner had been playing cricket since they were in diapers.

However, Rohit Sharma is currently captaining the Indian cricket team across all three formats. He is poised to lead Team India in the forthcoming T20 World Cup set to take place in the West Indies and the USA.

Concurrently, Rohit is actively participating in the ongoing IPL 2024, representing the five-time champions Mumbai Indians.

In his recent IPL appearance, Rohit Sharma contributed four runs against Lucknow Super Giants. Mumbai Indians batted first, posting a total of 144 runs, losing seven wickets at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
