Yuvraj Singh Reveals His Pick For The Cleanest Hitter Of The Cricket Ball At Present

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh was one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball. His high bat lift, follow-through was one of the few eye-pleasing sights along with a wide range of shots during his tenure as a cricketer. The World Cup-winning cricketer recently revealed his favourite candidate for the cleanest hitter of the cricket ball at the current moment.

With the game favouring the batters, there have been many batsmen who have come out as good strikers of the ball. From Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, to Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, the clean hitters have dominated the game. However, Yuvraj Singh snubbed all of them to pick Rohit Sharma as the cleanest hitter of the cricket balls in world cricket right now.

Hailing Rohit, Yuvraj stated that he looks very clean and elegant while playing his shots. The stylish southpaw also added no one comes close to India's vice-captain when timing the ball cleanly.

“I would say Rohit Sharma. He is very clean, and very elegant when it comes to his shots,” Yuvraj Singh told Sport360“I don’t think anyone else comes close to Rohit really when it comes to hitting the ball cleanly,” he added.

Meanwhile, not many would disagree with Yuvraj Singh's comments. Rohit Sharma has been in blistering form in recent times and smacked five centuries in ICC World Cup 2019 in England. He is the only batsman who has scored three double centuries in ODIs and four centuries in T20Is. Rohit also holds the record for the highest ODI score for his monumental 264-run knock against Sri Lanka.
