Yuzvendra Chahal is now the joint highest wicket taker for India in T20I”s

With his figures of 2/36, Chahal is now the joint highest wicket-taker for India in the shorter formats. He now has over 52 scalps to his name in 35 games.

He now shares this feat with R Ashwin, who was very lethal in times of his inclusion. Chahal also surpassed Bumrah (51) in the process of his remarkable feat.

Chahal was in and out of the T20I squad in recent times. Youngsters like Rahul Chahar were given opportunities in his absence. His bowling in tandem with Kuldeep Yadav has always been a treat to watch as the duo created enough damage to the opposition.

Malinga tops the list

Lasith Malinga(106) remains the only bowler to claim 100+ T20I wickets followed by Afridi (97).

It will be how things turn up ahead of the T20 World Cup as a handful of T20I”s are yet to be played by most of the teams.
