Yuzvendra Chahal Pays Tribute To Virat Kohli On World Lion Day

Renowned cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal is currently on cloud nine. He recently surprised one and all with his engagement news with celebrity choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The news garnered a lot of reactions from all spheres of life. As the leg-spinner now looks forward to IPL 2020, Chahal has paid tribute to his skipper Virat Kohli on World Lion Day.

Kohli has earned the tag of ‘King’ with his antics both on and off the field. He is one of the prime batsmen in the history of cricket across all the formats. On the occasion of World Lion Day, his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore compared Virat Kohli with a lion.

The franchise posted a collage on social media to draw comparisons. The two pictures consisted of Kohli in the RCB training gear and a lion in a jungle – asking fans to “Spot the differences”.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s teammate Yuzvendra Chahal immediately replied on the post. Chahal spotted the difference between the two pictures as he paid tribute to Kohli on World Lion Day.

“Difference hmmm in first pic wearing clothes and in 2nd pic widout clothes,” Chahal tweeted.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has already started his preparation for IPL 2020. He will be desperate to get on the field as RCB chase their maiden prestigious trophy in the UAE. On the other hand, the franchise will bank on Yuzvendra Chahal to deliver the goods. UAE produces turning tracks and spinners are likely to play a key role.

Chahal has experiences of playing in these wickets during the Asia Cup in 2018. He will like to bring his experience and make his presence felt during the high-profile tournament.

The 13th edition of IPL will run from September 19 to November 10. The teams will leave for UAE after August 20 and will remain in bio-secure bubble owing to COVID-19 outbreak.
