Royal Challengers Bangalore is playing against Rajasthan Royals in match 15 of IPL 2020 in Abu Dhabi. Steve Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. The Royals, however, did not have a good start as they lost their big three within the powerplay.

First Steve Smith was dismissed in the third over by Isuru Udan. Navdeep Saini then accounted for Jos Buttler’s wicket in the fourth over. Yuzvendra Chahal then dismissed Sanju Samson in the fifth over to reduce the Royals to 31 for three inside the powerplay.

Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a flighted delivery first up, while Samson drove the ball straight to Chahal, who took a diving catch to his right. It was referred by the on-field umpires, while the soft signal was out.

The third umpire ruled the decision in favour of Chahal saying that he had no conclusive evidence to overturn the on-field umpire’s decision. Both Samson and Smith have scored two fifties so far in the tournament for the Royals. The dismissals came as a big blow to the team as the duo have been majorly scoring their runs.
