Ajinkya Rahane Makes A Solid Statement In The First Match Of IPL 2025

Ajinkya Rahane made a solid statement during the opening game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He scored a fast fifty in the first innings, laying the foundation for KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) to set a big total for Bangalore to chase. RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) vs KKR was the first match of IPL 2025 on Saturday night. Rahane had to show the world that he still has the fire for performing left inside him. In fact, Rahane has had a fantastic domestic season for Mumbai recently. In fact, he is captaining Mumbai as well as KKR.

Ajinkya Rahane Went Unsold, and He has an Answer for That

Rahane went unsold during the initial phase of the mega auctions for IPL 2025 in November last year. However, later on he was bagged by KKR for a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. Rahane has plenty of experience, thus KKR actually got Rahane for a great price. More so because KKR was looking for a captain and Rahane fit the position very well.

Rahane has been ignored by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) for the last several years. The last time Rahane played for India was in July 2023, when India was touring West Indies.

How Did People Reach to Rahane’s Innings in RCB vs KKR
