Arjun Tendulkar has a go at the Indian batsmen in the nets at Wankhede Stadium

The men in blues resumed their training session ahead of their series opener against the Kiwis on October 22nd in Mumbai after spending a vacation of seven days with their friends and family after Diwali. Surprisingly, Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar, who also joined the training session at the Wankhede stadium, was seen bowling at the nets.

Virat Kohli & Co was seen sweating it out in the practice sessions under the watchful eyes of head coach Ravi Shastri. The 18-year-old was seen bowling at the top batsmen of the world including the no 1 batsman of the world and India skipper. Recently, Arjun was picked up for the Mumbai u-19 squad for the Vinoo Mankad Trophy.

Earlier, Arjun was spotted at the nets of England cricket team in Lords before the start of the South Africa series. England’s wicket-keeper-batsman Johnny Bairstow was limping while leaving the ground after getting hurt from a toe-crushing yorker from Arjun. He has also seen at the nets of Indian Women’s Cricket team nets ahead of their semi-final clash against Australia. India ultimately lost the final against the host England by nine runs.

India will take on the Black Cap in a three-match ODI series starting from October 22 followed by three T20I’s. it will an intriguing series as Kane Williamson & Co will look to perform well while Virat Kohli led Indian team will look to continue their dominance after a convenient series win against Australia and Sri Lanka.
