“Bae And Bestie” – Prithvi Shaw Relaxes In London With His Rumored Girlfriend, Nidhhi Tapadiaa

Indian opener Prithvi Shaw is playing for Northamptonshire in the ongoing County Championship Division Two 2024. He is accompanied by his rumoured girlfriend, Nidhhi Tapadiaa, in the UK. On her official Instagram on Monday, September 23, Nidhi posted a story from The Shard in London, where she was with Shaw and one of her close friends.

She captioned the story:

“W bae and bestie.”

Prithvi Shaw has had a tough time finding his form in the County Championship Division Two. He was not included in Northhamptonshire’s playing XI in their last game against Leicestershire. He has only scored 164 runs in this nine innings red-ball tournament at an average of 18.22.

Nonetheless, he found good form in the One-Day Cup 2024. The explosive batsman was also the leading scorer for Northamptonshire in the tournament, scoring 343 runs in 8 innings with an average of 42.87.

Earlier this month, Nidhhi Tapadiaa celebrated her birthday with Prithvi Shaw in the UK, rumoured to be her boyfriend for quite a while now.

But no public announcement has been made regarding their relationship yet. As Nidhhi was turning a year older, this is what Shaw had to say in his Instagram story on September 12:

“Happy birthday JUI. Thank you for being constant support. Blessed to have you.”

At the moment, Northamptonshire stands ,almost in the middle of the table at place fourth, in the County Championship Divison Two 2024 points standing with a total of 152 points after making 13 exits. They are set to battle it out with Yorkshire at Headingley, Leeds, on Thursday, September 22, with the first ball set to be bowled at midday.

Shaw debuted in Test cricket in 2018, marking his presence on the global stage with a knock of 134 runs against the Barbadians. Nevertheless, he went on to lose his position in the national side of India following a few dismal performances.
