Brad Haddin To Coach This IPL Franchise In IPL 2020

Former World Cup-winning vice-captain and Australian wicket keeper-batsman, Brad Haddin is all set to be a part of IPL 2020.

Brad Haddin has scored over 6000 international runs for Australia and has affected over 350 dismissals.

He was also a part of the IPL in the year 2011 and played for Kolkata Knight Riders. He played only one game and then never got the chance to play in the IPL again.

On Monday, the Sunrisers Hyderabad announced that they are delighted to have Brad Haddin on board as an assistant coach.

After retirement in 2015 after the Ashes, Haddin took up the coaching role. He has been the fielding coach of Australia in 2017 and also the assistant coach to Australia A in 2016.

Not long ago, Sunrisers Hyderabad sacked Tom Moody as their Head Coach. It was under him that the franchise won their first and only IPL title. For this year”s edition, they have signed the 2019 World Cup winning coach, Trevor Bayliss as Moody”s replacement. Haddin will be replacing Simon Helmot in the team for the position.

Haddin and Bayliss have worked together previously at Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League. The former was then captain and the latter was the coach. The Sixers won the Champions League (now defunct) T20 2012.

With Brendon McCullum being the new Head Coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab parting ways with Mike Hesson, the franchises are looking to revamp their structure.

Do you think this move will help SRH get another title in 2020?
