Rohit Sharma is currently gearing up for the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies. The series will comprise three ODIs followed by the same number of T20I matches. Ahmedabad will host the one-dayers while Kolkata is scheduled to host the T20Is.
Rohit will return to action after an injury haul that saw him miss the entire of South Africa. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul led the side in the ODIs. The premier batsman will be back to lead the side which will also be his first assignment as India’s full-time ODI captain.
Before the start of the series, Rohit took to Instagram to share a picture of him and stated that he can’t wait for the series to get underway. He wrote:
