David Warner was stripped of captaincy midway in IPL 2021
David Warner was the captain of the SRH for many years before being removed in the middle of this season. The former SRH captain has had a troubled season with the bat this year. He managed to score only 195 runs in 8 matches. His previous performances have had a huge impact when it comes to SRH as a team.
He guided them to an IPL title in 2016 and has been the orange cap on various occasions. Warner holds the record for scoring the most runs for the franchise in IPL, with 4014 runs in his kitty in just 95 matches at an average of 49.55.
