The Mumbai Indians are all set to take on the Delhi Capitals as the playoff qualification scenarios begin to turn more dramatic as days progress. Mumbai Indians have already qualified for the playoffs as they became the first side in the tournament to confirm their spot in the playoffs as Chennai Super Kings defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, will look to win the match against Mumbai Indians as they are on a three-match losing streaking which is immensely hurting them as if they lose the next match their playoff spot could be at a major risk. Which is why it is very important for Delhi Capitals to win the match against Mumbai Indians and ensure their qualification for the playoffs.

1. Suryakumar Yadav

The Mumbai batsmen have looked in fine form this season for the Mumbai Indians franchise. In the last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Suryakumar Yadav took the responsibility to finish off the match and eventually did the job.

Batting at three he has been doing a fine job for the Mumbai Indians franchise since two seasons, in this season he has been exceptional given that Rohit Sharma has been sitting out due to a hamstring injury.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin

This season has been a dream for the Delhi Capitals side and for which much of the credit should be given to Ravichandran Ashwin who has been their unsung hero this season.

Ashwin has been given the responsibility of bowling his overs upfront in the powerplay and he has so far done a terrific job as he has picked key wickets in the powerplay.

3. Quinton de Kock

Another player who has looked in good touch this season after having a few bad games, Quinton de Kock has gone to score heavily for the side this season. Opening the batting alongside Rohit Sharma, Quinton has managed to get Mumbai Indians those required explosive starts in the powerplay.

The newly appointed Proteas skipper had a rough time opening the batting for the Mumbai Indians earlier in this tournament but ever since that match against Sunrisers Hyderabad he’s looked in good shape and is expected to score a lot of runs going forward in this tournament.

4. Anrich Nortje

The Proteas pace bowler who made an impact in the test arena for the South African national side has been another unsung hero for the Delhi Capitals franchise. He along with Kagiso Rabada has been instrumental in Delhi Capitals proven success this year as both have been opening the bowling for the side upfront.

5. Jasprit Bumrah

The leader of the pace bowling attack of Mumbai Indians had a patchy start to the 2020 IPL season.  But ever since he started opening the bowling for Mumbai Indians in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Sharjah, Bumrah has looked in good mojo and expected to continue the same form going ahead in the season.
