Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) want to give their home fans a winning farewell on Saturday against the Delhi Capitals. RCB began the Women’s Premier League (WPL) season with two wins in Vadodara but after that suffered three defeats in a row, including the heartbreaking Super Over loss to UP Warriorz, after shifting to their home ground, M Chinnaswamy.
RCB, presently third in the table and yet to record a win at home, desperately wants to bounce back against a tired Delhi Capitals. The Capitals, led by Meg Lanning, have a packed schedule with back-to-back games before the WPL shifts to Lucknow. They play Friday against top-of-the-table rivals the Mumbai Indians and then Saturday against RCB, allowing them little time to recover.
RCB will look to make the most of Delhi’s fatigue and take away much-needed points for morale and playoff aspirations. The win would also allow them to present their fans with a fantastic farewell gift on home soil before the tournament moves to Lucknow.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has almost a certain chance of winning against Delhi Capitals. RCB would be eager to reverse their three consecutive losses and provide a farewell win to their home fans. On the other hand, the back-to-back matches and the tiring international schedule hold Delhi Capitals in good stead.
Home advantage and determination would tilt the scales in favor of RCB against the Delhi Capitals. Moreover, a strong batting lineup, coupled with the good form in bowling, would assist RCB in achieving a win that they desperately look for.
