Former cricketer Dodda Ganesh has a cheeky take on Team India bowler Kuldeep Yadav’s performance against Sri Lanka in the second ODI on Thursday, January 12 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The spinner took three wickets in the match as India restricted the visitors to 215 runs in the first innings.
Sri Lankan batter Kusal Mendis was Kuldeep Yadav’s first victim. He dismissed the right-hander lbw for 34 runs. “Kuldeep, enough man. Don’t pick so many wickets. With 3 wkts already the odds of u being dropped for the next match are really high”

Not sure what Kuldeep Yadav is trying to do here.
Taking wickets?!?
Each one pushes him closer to getting dropped for the next match.— Sorabh Pant (@hankypanty) January 12, 2023
Kuldeep Yadav is bowling brilliantly today. I guess that means he'll be dropped next match.

This is an excellent bowling performance by India. Lots of variety and Siraj continues to impress. Fascinating to see Kuldeep's variation of pace. The extra 4-5 kmph has made a huge difference

THE REDEMPTION OF KULDEEP YADAV ❤️

Kuldeep Yadav should be playing regularly for India now that Chahal isn't having the same impact with the ball. Ideally, it should be Ravi Bishnoi. But Kuldeep at least has to be there if Bishnoi isn't picked. #INDvSL

I don't know but Kuldeep Yadav should be the first choice at least in ODIs. He and Chahal can wreck havoc. Unfortunatley, he is the one to sit. Sad, also want to see more of him in Tests !

Wicket-taking ability in middle overs is exactly why I’d pick Kuldeep Yadav in every Indian white ball XI: Wasim Jaffer
Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer lauded Kuldeep Yadav’s performance in the second ODI. He expressed that he would pick the spinner in the white-ball Indian team for his ability to pick wickets in the middle overs. Wasim Jaffer pointed out that Kuldeep has done well in the limited opportunities that he has got so far.
“This wicket taking ability in the middle overs is exactly why I’d pick @imkuldeep18 in every Indian white ball XI. But unfortunately he’s the first one to sit out, and then only comes in as replacement if needed, yet performs well in limited chances he gets,” the former cricketer tweeted.
