Virat Kohli not concerned about Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane’s form

Team India skipper Virat Kohli played down concerns over Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara’s form, saying that the team is focused on putting their best batting unit on the park and delivering in tough batting conditions.

Addressing a virtual press conference, Kohli said:

“I do not think that is an area of concern. Our basic focus is not to think about where are people individually at the moment, collectively how much strength they bring into the team is our focus.

“As a batting unit, we are looking to perform in difficult conditions so that we are in winning positions and someone is going to put their hand up every game,” he added.

The five-match Test series between India and England is currently tied at 0-0.
