KL Rahul’s Classy Batting Style Shines in Away Test

 

KL Rahul is still climbing up the ladder in international cricket, bagging another milestone in his game. In the course of the fourth Test between India and England held at Old Trafford in Manchester, Rahul matched the tally of Sunil Gavaskar to be the second Indian opener ever to tally 1000-plus runs in overseas countries. It was a great performance and it proves the quality and flexibility of Rahul as a batsman in foreign conditions.

India had a good beginning in the game and Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal showed an effective opening pair. India scored 78/0 at lunch with Rahul and Jaiswal scoring 40 and 36 respectively. The strong batting of the two gave strength to the innings by India and the two did not seem perturbed against English bowlers.
