The marquee T20 World Cup is all set to begin from 17 October 2021. Meanwhile ahead of the event teams are practicing hard to find their best XI heading into the T20 World Cup. Meanwhile, ahead of the tournament team England is all set to tour Pakistan for the white ball series.
On Friday, August 12, Pakistan Cricket Board ( PCB) has announced that they will host England’s men’s and women’s teams for the limited-overs series. Notably, this will be England’s first tour of Pakistan since 2005-06 which was filled with 3 Test games and 5, ODIs.

The teams are expected to reach Islamabad on October 9. Also, they are scheduled to play two T20Is each. Notably, all the games between the teams will be played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This match holds very big importance for both sides considering it will take place just before the marquee T20 World Cup which will be played between 17 October and 14 November. The men’s team will leave for UAE after the series. However, the women’s team will stay back there to play the three-match ODI series.
“We are delighted to welcome both the England men’s team for what will be their first tour to Pakistan since 2005 and the England women’s team, who will be touring Pakistan for the first time. Both are additional tours with England men’s side scheduled to return to Pakistan in the last quarter of 2022 for white-ball and ICC World Test Championship fixtures,” PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan said.
