The veteran off-spinner of the Indian National Cricket Team Harbhajan Singh is one of the few cricketers to be involved in India’s major winning moments. Right from 2001, the flamboyant cricketer has served India in all the ways possible to have incredible numbers to his name.

Recalling his glorious career, the off-spinner has revealed three best moments so far. At first, he named 2001 as his best year, which gave him incredible confidence in his own skills and helped him to become a better cricketer since then.

“As a player, I will rate 2001 series against Australia at the top spot as it made me the player I am today, if I look at my childhood dream, I always wanted to win the World Cup and it came true in 2011 so I will keep it at par with the 2001 series,” Harbhajan Singh said on the official YouTube channel of Aakash Chopra.

“Winning the T20 World Cup in 2007 was unbelievable when we landed back in India, we got a huge amount of support, I have never seen anything like that before, I would not be able to rate these three moments as all are very special to me,” he added.

In the latter half of his career, Harbhajan’s success has been mostly in the IPL where he played a crucial part in the success of the Mumbai Indians. He picked up as many as 24 wickets in the 2013 season and played a vital role in Mumbai’s maiden title-winning season.

After a decade long association, Mumbai released him and he was bought by Chennai Super Kings, which was a massive surprise. Harbhajan Singh did extremely well and was retained once again for IPL 2020.
