- Rohit Sharma is just 46 runs behind Virat Kohli in the list of most runs scored in the World Cups. Kohli is fourth on the list with 1289 runs, while Rohit Sharma is fifth with 1243 runs. Sachin Tendulkar again tops the list with 2278 runs.
- Mohammed Shami is likely to get an opportunity against New Zealand as Hardik Pandya is not available. The pacer might replace Shardul Thakur in the XI to provide a balance to the side.
