Shubman Gill uncertain for Pakistan clash
Shubman Gill’s participation is uncertain in India’s much-anticipated clash against Pakistan in the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup. The match will take place on October 14 in Ahmedabad. Gill has been at the team hotel since the Indian team arrived in Chennai on October 4. The doctors from Kaveri Hospital have been conducting his blood tests and monitoring his platelet count. He was hospitalised as the platelet count continued to be low.
According to sources as reported by Cricbuzz, Shubman Gill could be discharged from the hospital soon and return to the hotel if his condition improves. He may also join the team directly in Ahmedabad ahead of the Pakistan game.
