On February 14, Australian captain Pat Cummins posted pictures on his official Instagram to celebrate Valentine’s Day, featuring him and his wife Becky Boston posing with surfboards at the beach.
The cricket icon provided a caption for the post:
“Super-mum, wife, my valentine and apparently a pro-surfer too. Happy Valentines @becky_cummins ❤️.”

Intriguingly, an Indian fan expressed affection for Cummins’ spouse in a comment on the post. In response, the prominent fast bowler noted that he would convey the message to his wife.
Pat Cummins and Becky Boston were in a relationship for many years before officially getting married on July 29, 2022. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on October 8, 2021.

Cummins is set to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the upcoming 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise secured his services for a significant ₹20.50 crore during the mini-auction in Dubai.
Sunil Gavaskar, a former Indian batsman, suggested that Hyderabad should appoint Cummins as their new captain in an interview with Star Sports.
“I believe getting Pat Cummins was a good move, although it might have been a bit pricey. He’ll add leadership to their team, which they were missing before.”
”Last season, some of the bowling decisions in important games were confusing and led to losses. With Cummins as captain now, I’m confident it’ll improve the team’s performance.”
Aiden Markram led SRH in the last season, which turned out to be disappointing as they finished at the bottom with only four wins in 14 games. It’s worth noting that Markram has been successful as a captain for SunRisers Eastern Cape, leading them to consecutive title victories in SA 20.
