Chennai Super Kings leg spinner Imran Tahir has been unable to find a place in the starting 11 for his IPL franchise. The men in yellow have played three games in the tournament and Imran Tahir has not been a part of any of the games.
A fan, on Twitter, asked Imran Tahir as to when he will be seen playing in the starting 11 for CSK. Imran Tahir has responded to the fan and in a brilliant way. The former Proteas cricketer said in his tweet that the best players on the field and are doing their best to deliver the best possible results for the team. He also said that it was not about him or any other individual it was about seeing what is best for the team.

Imran Tahir further added that he is extremely proud to be a part of a wonderful team like CSK. The spin bowler said that if he gets a chance he will certainly give his best for the team and help the team.

Imran Tahir has been one of the top spinners in the IPL. He has picked 80 wickets in just 58 matches in the tournament. He also has a brilliant strike rate of 16.15. Imran Tahir joined the MS Dhoni-led team in 2018. He played a key role in their 2018 trophy-winning campaign. For Chennai, the South African bowler has picked up 33 wickets in 26 matches.
Chennai Super Kings have come back into this tournament really well after their initial loss to Delhi Capitals. The MS Dhoni-led side won back-to-back games to jump to the 2nd spot in the points table. They will be next seen in action on Wednesday 21st April against Kolkata Knight Riders. They will look to continue their winning run.
