Despite a setback in the previous T20I, where Glenn Maxwell’s exceptional performance led Australia to chase down a massive target of 223 runs, India maintained the upper hand in the series with a 2-1 lead. The team entered the fourth T20I in Raipur with the determination to seal the series. The opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad set a solid foundation, scoring 37 and 32 runs, respectively.

However, the middle order faced challenges as Shreyas Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav departed with minimal contributions of eight and one run, respectively. The innings found stability with Rinku Singh’s impressive 46 runs off 29 deliveries. Jitesh Sharma, who earlier showcased his aggressive batting, added 35 runs in 19 deliveries. Despite losing five wickets in the last nine deliveries, India managed to post a competitive total of 174/9.

The Indian team, buoyed by their strong performance, is eager to secure the series in Raipur, reflecting their resilience and determination to bounce back after the setback in the previous match. The remaining contest promises to be a thrilling culmination to an exciting series between these cricketing rivals.
