Naming an all-time XI has become a trend. Many international players who have represented their respective sides in the past have been naming their squads till now.
While few of them were criticized for their biased opinion towards their country players, few of them were highly lauded for properly framing their side.
Harbhajan Singh, the spinner who created a revolution in the Indian spin department has now named his all-time XI.
His squad consisted of a typical Indian top order with the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. It is to be noted that three of them are currently leading the charts for the maximum number of ODI centuries for India. Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis and Andrew Flintoff were also a part of his side, thus providing a solid middle order.
He had no hesitation in naming MS Dhoni as the captain for the side. It is to be noted that Bhajji was a part of the winning side in 2007 and 2011 World tournaments under his captaincy.
He was also with Dhoni during the victorious run of Chennai Super Kings in 2018. His bowling line-up included the blend of world-class bowlers in the form of Wasim Akram and Lasith Malinga as a part of pace department while Warne and Murali grabbed the spots for the spin attack.
Harbhajan is currently in England as a part of the cricket analyst panel and also in voicing out his opinions on the ongoing events in the world cup.
Harbhajan Singh”s All-time XI: Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Ricky Ponting, Jacques Kallis, Andrew Flintoff, MS Dhoni (C) (Wk), Shane Warne, Wasim Akram, Lasith Malinga, Muralitharan
