Meanwhile, Mumbai retained 17 cricketers from their squad for IPL 2020 and made some crucial additions to their squad to strengthen the rope. They roped in senior fast bowler from Australia Nathan Coulter-Nile as an alternative for Lasith Malinga, who has been the highest wicket-taker of the franchise in the history of IPL. He was also Mumbai’s biggest buy at ₹ 5 crores.

Along with Coulter Nile, Mumbai Indians also inducted New Zealand pacer, Adam Milne, into their team. The right-arm pacer was bought for ₹ 3.2 crores. The four-time IPL champions also spend ₹ 20 lakh to buy Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar in their team.
