IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad is all set to leave for UAE on September 1. The news was confirmed by Sreevats Goswami in an exclusive interaction with Sportskeeda. SRH has now become the fifth franchise to reveal their schedule for the UAE leg. The remaining 31 matches, including playoffs, will be played between September 19 and October 15. SRH are placed last in the points table at the moment having won just one of their first seven games.
While defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already finished their mandatory quarantine in Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are leaving on Saturday (August 21) and the Punjab Kings on August 29.
RCB RR and KKR have not yet confirmed their departure to UAE for the remaining half of the season. The Indian contingent of SRH have been asked to assemble in Mumbai on August 31. All of them will have to test RT-PCR negative before being allowed to board the charter flight to Dubai on September 1. The overseas players will directly head to the Arab nation.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Last On IPL 2021 Points Table
The SRH players will need to stay in isolation for six to seven days upon landing in the UAE. The franchise went through a lot in the first half of the tournament. Apart from a few of their players testing COVID positive, their captain David Warner was changed midway through the tournament with Kane Williamson. However, that did not change the fortunes of the team who lost six of their first seven games.

In their remaining seven games, they play three games in Dubai and two each in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. They play their last league game against Mumbai Indians on October 08. Their final four games are against tough oppositions like CSK, KKR, Mumbai Indians and RCB all of whom are at the above SRH in the points table.
