Umran Malik is serious serious pace. With Dale Steyn his mentor this season he is definitely the most exciting talent this IPL. Hope they groom him well!

Much to work with Umran Malik, hopefully time with Steyn will help. That kind of raw pace needs to be used by India in future when he's ready.

Umran Malik is a talent! Raw pace and someone who could trouble many top batsmen with his pace but needs good coaching to be able to control it. Would love someone like Donald or Lee to work closely with him #IPL #SRHvRR

One ball right on the money after so many trash balls, and Umran Malik gets Padikkal's wicket with that! Very inconsistent with his line and length right now but he will learn with time. He has pace, just needs the control. #SRHvsRR | #IPL2022

The best thing about Umran Malik is of course the pace. But his run-up, rhythm, load-up and action is equally exciting for a pacer who clocks 150 kph. Also, he's extremely athletic. #IPL2022 #RRvSRH
