The madness is about to begin with IPL 2022 slated to commence on March 26 (Saturday). Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the tournament opener at the Wankhede Stadium.

Meanwhile, this season will see Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni play only as regular players after they relinquished their leadership duties. IPL 2022 will also witness Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants make their debut in the competition.

While Hardik Pandya will lead the Titans, his best friend KL Rahul will captain the Super Giants. Mayank Agarwal is another man who will make his IPL captaincy debut as skipper of the Punjab Kings. Ravindra Jadeja will also step into leadership duties after Dhoni stepped down.

The mega event will also be available in regional language across India.

All evening matches will start at 7.30 PM IST.

On days of double headers, the first match will start at 3.30 PM and the second match will begin at 7.30 PM IST.
