Harpreet Brar, the bowler for Punjab Kings (PBKS), renewed his team’s performance in the current match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the ongoing 6th match of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Virat Kohli is leading Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s pursuit in the ongoing match against Punjab Kings. However, despite Kohli’s efforts, he is not receiving the necessary support from his teammates, as the Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings side is ensuring regular wicket-taking.

Rajat Patidar appeared to find his rhythm in the match, indicating he would offer solid support to Virat Kohli. The young batsman executed some elegant shots, keeping his team competitive. However, he failed to make a significant impact and was dismissed early, courtesy of a brilliant delivery from Punjab Kings spinner Harpreet Brar.

Patidar was completely deceived by Brar’s delivery and had to depart the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Harpreet Brar bowled a straight ball that slid along the ground and went past the batsman’s bat. Rajat Patidar swung at it to hit it through midwicket but completely missed, and the ball hit the middle stump.

Rajat Patidar struggled with just 18 runs off 18 balls, hitting only one four and one six at a 100-strike rate, leaving Royal Challengers Bangalore in trouble at 86/3. Then, Harpreet Brar further shook them by dismissing Glenn Maxwell in the next over with a flat-length delivery on the off stump, causing the home team’s fourth wicket to fall.
