Following CSK’s crucial win over the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 14 in the ongoing IPL, all-rounder Shivam Dube took a playful jab at RCB fans. The intense match, which went down to the wire in Lucknow, was another chapter in the heated back-and-forth between CSK and RCB this season.

Dube’s remarks added spice to the ongoing banter among IPL players, especially after his key role in CSK’s five-wicket triumph at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium. With 44 runs needed in the last four overs, the pressure was on, but MS Dhoni hit some quick boundaries, bringing the target down to 24 runs in two overs.

In the 19th over, Dube smashed a four and a six, followed by a boundary from Dhoni. Dube then confidently sealed the win with a powerful shot in the final over, wrapping up the game in style for CSK. While walking back to the dressing room, Shivam Dube heard RCB fans shouting at him.

Smiling, he pointed to the five stars on his CSK jersey, teasing them by showing that his team had won five titles, while RCB was still waiting for their first.

In the crucial match, Dube made a solid contribution, scoring 43 off 37 balls, but it was MS Dhoni who stole the spotlight with a remarkable 26 off 11 balls, earning the Player of the Match award. Other key contributors to CSK’s victory included Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana.
