Is This the Most Expensive and Star-Studded Affair Ever? Dream11 Unites Bollywood Stars and Cricket Legends for IPL 2025 Campaign

Dream11, the fantasy sports platform, has taken advertising to the next level by bringing together Bollywood and cricket in its latest campaign, “Aapki Team Mein Kaun?” for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. This star-studded commercial features Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, and more, turning the ad into a battle of egos over Bollywood supremacy—Khan vs. Kapoor.

The Concept Behind the Campaign

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this commercial blends humor, rivalry, and cricket to create an engaging narrative. The ad revolves around a playful yet intense debate over who is the bigger star—Aamir Khan or Ranbir Kapoor? Cricket superstars like Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Hardik Pandya add fuel to the fire, making the ad a true entertainer.

How the Rivalry Unfolds

The ad kicks off with Rishabh Pant asking Aamir Khan to help him get a photo with Ranbir Kapoor. Aamir cheekily responds, “Forget the photo, he’ll give you a kiss instead. He’s like family, come here,” leading Pant to Kapoor. But things take a turn when Aamir mistakenly calls Ranbir “Ranbir Singh”, confusing him with his contemporary Ranveer Singh.

Rohit Sharma jumps in to correct Aamir, saying, “Not Singh, sir, it’s Kapoor.” Aamir, in his usual carefree style, laughs it off, saying, “It’s the same thing, man… both are handsome, well done.” But Kapoor, clearly annoyed, decides to retaliate.

The Battle Intensifies

Ranbir, visibly irked, turns to Hardik Pandya and says, “Aise kaise Kapoor ko Singh bol diya? Main unko Salman bulau toh?” This witty retort takes a playful dig at Bollywood’s biggest superstars and hints at their well-known industry rivalries.

Aamir then takes a dig at Salman’s actor-filmmaker brother Arbaaz Khan, who turns up behind him with a hilarious reaction. Ranbir, on the other hand, claims, “60 ke ho gaye hain, sathiya gaye hain. Retire hone bolo unko.”

Surprise Cameos & Hilarious Dialogues

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah laugh as Hardik quips, “Raita Aamir sir ne phaila diya.” Up next, Ranbir claims that Aamir is jealous of him because he’s a just Khan whereas RK is ‘Khandaan’. That’s when Jackie Shroff makes a funny cameo.

Aamir even reveals that he’s prepping for Ghajini 2 at the moment. At the end of this hilarious war, which is an advertisement for Dream 11, Ranbir and Aamir decide to battle it out on the field and choose players for their cricket teams.

Adding more spice, Bollywood veterans Jackie Shroff and Arbaaz Khan make surprise appearances. Jackie, with his signature style, delivers punchlines that leave the cricketers in splits. Meanwhile, Arbaaz Khan’s expressions speak volumes, making his cameo a highlight.
