Former Indian cricketers MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir were spotted posing together at the wedding of Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant’s sister. Dhoni, along with his wife Sakshi, traveled to Dehradun to attend the celebration.
Pant, who had just returned from Dubai after India’s 2025 Champions Trophy triumph, was also present for his sister’s big day. Dhoni and Gambhir were seen posing alongside Pant, his sister, and her husband during the event.
Dhoni wore a black t-shirt with a Morse code design, while Gautam Gambhir sported a black t-shirt with jeans. Pant, meanwhile, opted for traditional attire. As India’s head coach, Gambhir played a key role in their 2025 Champions Trophy win, with India’s previous title coming in 2013 under Dhoni’s captaincy.
According to ‘India Today’, Dhoni arrived on Tuesday, while Gambhir joined the celebrations on Wednesday.

MS Dhoni is set to feature for CSK in IPL 2025
MS Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, has remained an active participant in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Ahead of the IPL 2025 season, his franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), retained him under the ‘uncapped player’ category for ₹4 crore.
Dhoni has already joined CSK’s pre-season training camp along with his teammates. After attending the wedding, he will return to Chennai to continue preparations for IPL 2025, which is set to begin on March 22.
Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir will not be involved in the IPL this year, as he is now serving as the head coach of the Indian national team. Last season, he was the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders and played a key role in guiding them to their third IPL title.
With the IPL season approaching, Gambhir is expected to travel with the India A team to help them prepare for India’s upcoming Test series against England, utilizing his time off from national team duties.
