Jason Roy was visibly upset after he got out on a duck in the final T20I against India at Ahmedabad. The England opening batsman was completely outdone by Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the first over. Roy tried hitting Bhuvneshwar down the ground but he completely missed the delivery which shattered the stumps. Roy was clean bowled in the first over of the chase itself which was a huge blow to England chasing a mammoth target of 225 runs.
Roy was extremely disappointed with his dismissal was spotted hitting a water bottle near the boundary rope while he was heading to the pavilion. The England opener was vital to England’s success as he had the ability to take the match away from India in the decisive match. Nevertheless, it was a body blow to England as they lost their reliable opener early in the run chase.

Meanwhile, once Roy departed the partnership between Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan gave England a flying start. The duo in the first batting powerplay added 62 runs and kept England in the run chase. The match changed completely when Buttler was caught at the mid-off boundary for 52 runs. The wicket of Buttler changed the momentum of the England innings and they currently struggling at 142 for 5 after 15 overs. England further requires another 83 runs in 30 balls to win the match and the series. Team India are currently favourites and on course to register yet another T20I series win.
