Watch – Chris Jordan Pulls Off An Outrageous Catch To Dismiss Suryakumar Yadav

England all-rounder Chris Jordan partnered with Jason Roy to pull off an outrageous catch to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav during the 5th T20I against India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, India have taken the driver’s seat with 143 for the loss of two wickets after English skipper Eoin Morgan asked India to bat first after winning the toss.

Virat Kohli promoted himself to the top of the batting order in place of KL Rahul while bringing in another fast bowler in the form of T Natarajan to strike the balance in the playing XI. Kohli and Rohit Sharma started in the fifth gear taking on the English fast-bowlers using their pace. Rohit was in his groove hitting the balls miles to give India a blistering start what they lacked so far in the series.

Rohit Sharma soon marched to his half-century as Ben Stokes drew the first blood to put an end to the 94-run partnership for the first wicket. The all-rounder bowled a slowish delivery which kept low to find the inside edge of Rohit’s bat before crashing onto the stumps. Soon walked Suryakumar Yadav in his trademark style and started smashing the ball right from the very beginning. He soon marched toward his second T20I half-century but a brilliant effort from Chris Jordan ended his stay in the middle.

A fantastic effort from Chris Jordan at long-on brings an end to Suryakumar Yadav’s cameo. The Mumbai Indians batsman picked the googly, waltzes down the track, and heaves this towards wide long-on. Jordan sprinted across, grabs it with his right hand near the boundary, and flicks it towards Jason Roy who was ambling in from deep mid-wicket.

Roy has a laugh about it too as even he can’t believe what he has just seen. Chris Jordan was aware to use his presence of mind to throw the ball back to Roy before he crossed the boundary rope which ended Suryakumar Yadav’s blistering knock.
