Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah caused a lot of trouble for England’s Tailender and star pacer James Anderson. During the last phase of England’s first innings in the second Test at Lord’s cricket ground. Notably On Saturday Jasprit Bumrah bowled many bouncers at Anderson during the third day’s play.

Meanwhile, In the 125th over of the match pacer, Mark Wood got run out. After that James Anderson came to bat for England at no.11 position. Also, Indian pacer Bumrah came to bowl his spell in 126th over the match. He soon went aggressive against the England tailender and bowled some fierce deliveries. Bumrah went on to deliver a nasty bouncer against Anderson which hit his helmet and led him to get checked for a concussion.

However, Bumrah didn’t stop there and continued to bowl fierce deliveries targeted towards Anderson’s body to stop him from contributing crucial runs for the team. Notably, In the single over Bumrah ended up bowling four no-balls, So it a took total of 10 deliveries for Bumrah to complete his over. Overall it was a very tough time for the 39-year-old while batting against the Indian pacer.

Meanwhile, while watching this battle former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn came up with a cheeky tweet. Steyn mentioned that James Anderson will be begging to get the ball once Bumrah comes out to bat in India’s second innings. Steyn wrote:

“Jimmy gana be begging for the ball when Jasprit comes in to bat…,” Steyn tweeted reacting to the duo’s face-off.

When the Day 3 of the Lord’s Test ended England scored 391 runs in reply to India’s 364 and was having a lead of 27 runs. The main man of England’s batting unit was once again skipper Joe Root who smashed a sensational 180 not out.
