All thanks to the IPL both Jimmy Neesham and Glenn Maxwell have now become good friends. The duo together players for the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020. The two cricketers who have a witty sense of humour got along with each other and instantly became friends.

Recently Neesham and Maxwell played against each other in a 5 match T20I series between New Zealand and Australia. Eventually, the hosts won the competitive T20I series by a margin of 3-2. New Zealand won the opening two matches whereas Australia won the next 2 and levelled the series.

Eventually, New Zealand in a one-sided contest won the final T20I and clinched the series. Chasing a target of 143, New Zealand chased it down in mere 16 overs as opening batsman Martin Guptill starred in the decisive match. Maxwell had a disappointing as he could make only make 1 run and his wicket started the Australian collapse in the 5th T20I.

Post the series, Jimmy Neesham made sure that he showcased his funny side once again which left everyone in splits. Former IPL teammates Neesham and Maxwell swapped jerseys with each other and the photo soon went viral on social media.

Interestingly a short message written by Neesham while gifting his jersey to Maxwell caught everybody’s attention. Neesham had written ‘4, 6, 4, 4, 4, 6’, as Maxwell smashed all these runs in his single over during the third T20I. The New Zealand all-rounder trolled himself as he once again made everyone aware of the runs Maxwell scored against him.

Meanwhile, Maxwell went berzerk against Neesham and smashed 28 runs from his single over. He hit 2 massive sixes and 4 boundaries against a helpless Neesham during the end overs. Neesham had finished the match with bowling figures of 0 for 60 in the match which is now the second most runs conceded by a New Zealand bowler in a T20I match.
