KL Rahul Shares Post After Successful Appendicitis Surgery

KL Rahul had a successful appenicitis surgery and is healing at the moment. The Punjab Kings skipper was down with acute appendicitis before their match against Delhi Capitals and was subsequently ruled out of the season. As it turned out, IPL 2021 was suspended by BCCI after players from several camps tested positive with Kolkata Knight Riders being the most affected side. 

Meanwhile, KL Rahul took to Twitter on Wednesday and posted an image of him enjoying with his pet dogs at an exotic location. The picture has garnered a lot of attraction over social media platforms. “Healing,”. Rahul kept things short in the caption to update about his health with his latest social media activity. Rahul’s latest upload from a picturesque location soon became the talk of the town on social media.

According to a report, the versatile batsman flew on a charter flight to Mumbai where he underwent laparoscopic appendectomy. Rahul had a fruitful season with the 2014 runners-up in the 14th season of the cash-rich league. 

KL Rahul was the proud owner of the Orange Cap till he played in IPL 2021. He scored 331 runs in seven games. The Orange Cap winner of the IPL 2020 season had scored a matchwinning 91* off 57 balls in his last appearance for Punjab Kings. 

KL Rahul has been included in India’s WTC final squad and the subsequent England series. However, his inclusion in the playing XI will totally depend on how fit he is and how good his recovery has been.  

Punjab Kings came out with an official statement on Rahul’s health condition before their match against Delhi Capitals.

“KL Rahul complained of a severe abdomen pain last night and after not responding to medication, he was taken to the emergency room for further tests which revealed that he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. It will be resolved surgically and for safety measures he has been transferred to the hospital for the same.” Punjab Kings wrote in a tweet.
