Team India cricketer KL Rahul is currently sweating it out at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to attain match fitness ahead of IPL 2022. Rahul has been out of action since the third ODI against West Indies last month.
He suffered a hamstring injury during the second ODI against West Indies last month. This led to Rahul being sidelined for the subsequent T20I series against West Indies and the current Sri Lanka series.
Since then, KL Rahul has been working hard to attain match fitness at the NCA. The celebrated cricketer gave fans a glimpse of his recovery period, sharing a couple of pictures on his official Instagram handle.
Fans can see KL Rahul training hard in the gym in the company of his Indian teammates Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shardul Thakur in the pictures.

KL Rahul Suddenly Became A Batting Beast In Six Months – Virat Kohli
The former Indian captain Virat Kohli recently looked back at KL Rahul’s 2016 IPL season when he batted brilliantly for RCB. Rahul missed the 2017 IPL season due to a shoulder injury after which he joined Punjab Kings in 2018.
Speaking on RCB Podcast, Kohli said:
“He doesn’t need to be the focal point or that youngster who has to prove himself. It’s all about being a part of this great team and showing what he can do.”
He added:
“And the way he batted that season, for me, that was a great transformation of seeing a player who was just there and there about to becoming suddenly this beast in six months’ time. From there on he’s carried through.”
