Michael Vaughan And Wasim Jaffer Engage In Another Hilarious Twitter Banter

Jaffer

Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer are two hilarious characters from the cricketing fraternity. They frequently engage in amusing banter on social media, much to the delight of the audience.

Wasim Jaffer opened the innings for India Maharajas in Legends League Cricket (LLC) match against the World Giants team on Saturday. However, his stay on the crease was short-lived and he got out for a 2-ball duck. England’s Ryan Sidebottom took his wicket.

Vaughan didn’t miss out on this opportunity as he took to Twitter to troll the former India opener’s batting performance. In a video posted on his Twitter handle, Vaughan said: “Some things don’t change Wasim”, pointing to Jaffer’s score on the Cricbuzz scorecard.

Wasim Jaffer was added to the India Maharajas squad after skipper Virender Sehwag was ruled out of the first half of the tournament. Meanwhile in the match, World Giants defeated India Maharajas by three wickets with three balls to spare.

The Indian legends were in complete control of the match, because of Naman Ojha’s 140, but the World Giants side won the game in the end, thanks to a surprise batting performance by Imran Tahir. The veteran South Africa spinner played a miraculous unbeated knock of 52 runs in just 19 balls.

Wasim Jaffer replies in style

Wasim Jaffer, who is known for his humorous social media posts, came up with an epic reply to Michael Vaughan’s tweet. Jaffer shared an image of a Youtube video from 2007 in which Vaughan was giving a masterclass on how to play the cover drive. Vaughan was England’s Test captain at that time.

Wasim Jaffer hilariously stated that he had watched this batting tutorial before going out to bat against the World Giants and hence he lost his wicket. Jaffer wrote: “Haha very good Michael..In hindsight shouldn’t have watched this masterclass before going to bat”
